Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid Oral Suspension Uses

This oral suspension is the combination of Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid belongs to the class of medication called Antibiotics. This combination is used in the treatment of various bacterial infections such as – Pharyngitis/Tonsilitis (throat infections), otitis media (ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), pneumonia, gonorrhea (sexually transmitted disease), anorectal infections in women, skin, and urinary tract infection. Cefpodoxime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that helps prevent bacterial cell wall covering, which is essential for the survival of the bacterial cell. On the other hand, Clavulanic Acid is known as a beta-lactamase inhibitor), which helps the body by enhancing the cefpodoxime activity against the bacteria. Together Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid helps the human body to treat the infection caused by the bacteria. 

Directions to Use

  • Cefpodoxime + Clavulanic Acid Oral Suspension is prescribed as medication, so it is important to consult with your physician about the treatment with this combination 
  • Check the label for instructions on how to use dry syrup. Boil and cool water to the desired temperature on the bottle’s label. Shake well. Use as directed by your doctor. Use the prescribed dose orally with the measuring cup, dosing syringe, or dropper provided in the pack. Shake the pack thoroughly before each use.
  • The intake quantity depends on your medical condition, and how your body reacts to the medication, do not double or stop taking this medication without consultation of your medical healthcare professional. 
  • Do not consume this medication if you are a breastfeeding mother. 
  • Consume this medication at the same time every day. This will lead to good results for your medical condition. 
  • Place this product in a dry place that is not exposed to the sun.
